Ideal classroom

 Ideal classroom

The instructor, the classroom, and the students all participate individually to the success of the learner in the ideal learning environment. In order to create a conducive learning atmosphere, the instructor is essential. A well-designed classroom makes learning and success easier.

1. Create beneficial relationships

Building trusting relationships with your students can make them feel more comfortable approaching you with queries about their assignments or when they are having difficulties. Many of them could find comfort in knowing they have someone they can confide in and trust. By spending time with each student individually, hearing out any criticisms or concerns, and displaying enthusiasm when students come to you with their experiences and tales, you can develop a strong relationship with your students.

2. provide encouraging comments

Promoting a great classroom culture involves giving positive feedback. Extrinsic motivation is one way to reinforce behavior positively. Extrinsic motivators are outside forces that influence students' behavior, such as rewarding good performance on a test with sweets or giving them five minutes of free time at the conclusion of class. Public acclaim for students is another effective extrinsic motivation. You can congratulate a student on their conduct or academic success in front of their peers, or you can take the time to get in touch with the student's parents and inform them of the good behaviors their child has been displaying.

3. Promote cooperation

A class with more engaged students may result from student collaboration. Before allowing students to work in groups or pairs, you might want to consider outlining the expectations and justifications for cooperation in order to ensure constructive collaboration. They will benefit from knowing their goal and the reasoning behind their collaboration. In order for all students participating in the assignment or project to contribute to the general goal of the assignment or project, you might wish to form groups depending on the various abilities and interests of each group's members.

4.  Give students a voice and a choice

When students feel their opinion matters in class discussions, they're more likely to feel encouraged to speak in front of their peers. Promoting student empowerment begins with providing opportunities for students to share their opinions, take risks and decide how they learn best. This builds self-confidence , which supports a more positive learning environment.

                                     5. Create rules and expectations

Setting guidelines such as classroom rules and expectations is an important way to let students know what is acceptable behavior. If your students are old enough, you may consider letting them discuss one or two rules they would like to add to the classroom rules so they feel they have input on an important aspect of your class.
